Translation/Notes: 697. (The) rock in (the) water (does)n't know (the) pain (of the) rock in (the) sun/(that the) rock in (the) sun (is going through). Rocks in the water don't know the misery of rocks in the sun. There is no way fully to comprehend another's pain. Wòch nan dlo = gwo nèg. “Moun ki gen lajan pa konnen doulè moun ki mizè/wendè.
